Super Halfs: The Global Half Marathon Series for Every Runner

When people talk about running races, the focus often shifts to the World Marathon Majors, the six largest and most famous marathons in the world. Recently, there’s been even more buzz as the series plans to expand with new races in Sydney and Shanghai. But not everyone runs marathons, and not everyone wants to. And that’s totally okay!

If you’ve ever felt left out because you’re not into marathons but still want to experience a series of races that take you across the world, and maybe even collect a special medal in the process, you’re in luck. The Super Halfs offers just that, a chance to travel, race, and celebrate your running journey!

The Super Halfs is a series of six iconic half marathons around Europe. The goal? Complete all six, and you’ll earn a 7th medal to commemorate your achievement. It’s the perfect alternative if you love the idea of international races without the full 26.2-mile commitment.

Plus, the cities hosting these half marathons are amazing, giving you the perfect excuse to explore new destinations while racing. Here’s the full lineup:

  • Lisbon (March)

  • Prague (April)

  • Berlin (April)

  • Copenhagen (September)

  • Cardiff (October)

  • Valencia (October)

These races come with a variety of courses, from flat and fast routes to more challenging profiles. So, whether you're aiming for a personal best or just want to have a good time, each city offers something different.

I’ve decided to start my journey in 2025, and I’m looking forward to ticking off all six of these races, and of course, celebrating with the Super Medal at the end. Who’s down to run these half-marathons with me? Let’s conquer these races and explore the world together!
